On the morning of February 3, many businesses and production establishments in Tien Giang province performed the opening ceremony of the new spring and started production with a joyful and exciting atmosphere with the belief that the new year will bring new victories.<\/strong><\/p>

On the first day of operation of the year, many businesses held meetings to celebrate the new year, gave “lucky money” gifts to workers and laborers; organized lion dance performances, light New Year parties and started working with a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere to achieve high results right from the first working day after Tet.<\/p>

This morning, Tien Giang Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (TICCO) also organized a convoy of motor vehicles and concrete trucks to “perform” on many main roads in Tien Giang province. Enterprises producing and trading agricultural and aquatic products, plant varieties, plant protection products, etc. this morning, also started production and business, “going to the fields with farmers”.<\/p>

Tien Giang province has more than 6,400 enterprises operating in various fields. Last year, the production and business activities of enterprises were maintained and stable. In particular, industrial parks in the province have so far attracted 111 projects (including 83 FDI projects) with a total investment capital of over 2.8 billion USD and 4,527 billion VND.<\/p>

Last year, the industrial production index of Tien Giang province increased by more than 12% over the same period in 2023. Notably, the export turnover of goods is estimated at 6 billion USD, reaching 120% of the plan, up 10% over the same period last year and reaching the highest level ever. The United States is the province’s largest export market, accounting for 21.7%; followed by the Indian market, accounting for 11.8%; Russia, accounting for 7.5%; China, accounting for 5.9%; South Korea, accounting for 4.7%; Germany, accounting for 3.6%… of the total export turnover of goods. This year, Tien Giang province strives to achieve an export turnover of more than 6.3 billion USD.<\/p>
